Dr. Adam J. Katz is a Podiatric physician, surgeon and leader in South Florida. Dr. Katz is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric surgery. He specializes in the treatment of all aspects of foot and ankle disorders, heel pain, bunions, gout, sprains, ankle fracture and more. He is currently at the forefront of the latest techniques and technology available for correction of deformities and improvement of function foot and ankle conditions.

Having comprehensive knowledge and experience he continues to refine and modify techniques to achieve enhanced outcomes for his patients. His patients have shorter recovery times, and minimal to no pain. Dr. Katz also believes the final cosmetic result of the foot is just as important as the structural correction of foot and ankle condition.

Podiatric Training and Education

Dr. Katz attended the University of South Florida where he completed his Bachelors degree. He pursued his Podiatric medical education at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. After receiving his degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University, he completed a 2 year surgical residency program at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA.

During this time he received advanced surgical training in comprehensive foot and ankle surgery and also earned a 2 year certificate in lower extremity foot and ankle reconstruction. Through this podiatry training he gained extensive knowledge in reconstructive foot surgery, foot and ankle trauma surgery, sports medicine, diabetic foot management, biomechanics, and wound care.

Foot and Ankle Surgical Training

Following successful completion of this advanced surgical and wound care training program, he moved to Boynton Beach, FL. He has been involved with training residents as an active staff surgeon of Podiatric medicine at JFK Medical Center and Bethesda Memorial Hospital. Dr. Katz has also served as staff Podiatrist for the Wound Technology Network and Tritech Wound Care Healing Centers.

Dr. Katz is well-known in the community for outstanding results in Podiatric surgery. He has unparalleled success rates in diabetic wound management and limb preservation where he utilizes the most modern and state-of-the-art techniques to achieve the fastest possible healing times.
